This Editorial Policy explains how Study in India Hub researches, writes, and maintains its guides. Our goal is simple: give international students information they can actually rely on.

Who writes our guides

Our guides are produced by the Edulab team and led by Pratik Gandhi, who guides international students to Indian universities as part of Edulab's work operating the University of Mumbai International Admission Desk. Because the same people who write our guides also process real applications, our content reflects how admissions actually work, not just how they are described on paper.

How we source and check facts

We base fees, dates, eligibility, and recognition details on official sources: university websites and admission offices, government and regulatory bodies (such as the UGC, ICCR, NMC, and embassies), and official visa information. Where we state a figure, we aim to cite where it comes from. When a number cannot be confirmed, we say so plainly rather than guess.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research and drafting, which lets us cover more topics and keep guides current. Every published guide is then reviewed and fact-checked by a person before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed AI output, and a human is always accountable for what appears on this site.

Accuracy and updates

Fees, deadlines, and rules change every year. We date our guides and revise them as information changes, and we frame dates around the current admission cycle. If a deadline has passed, we point you to the next one rather than leaving stale information in place.

Corrections

If you spot something wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. We investigate corrections promptly and update the guide.

Independence and disclosure

We do not sell rankings or recommendations, and no university can pay to be rated more highly in our guides. We are transparent that Edulab provides technology and admissions services to Indian universities, including operating the University of Mumbai International Admission Desk, so we have commercial relationships with some institutions we cover. We disclose this so you can weigh our guidance fairly. Our first duty is to the student reading the page.
